Free entry for all young persons between 14 and 25 years old
Xray Community is a Belgium based multifunctional platform for young artists between 14 and 23 years old. We strive to make art accessible to the youth regardless of their ethnical background. We support and empower the youth by providing them with a space for multidisciplinary experimentation and creative possibilities. Our core goal lies in the welfare and the mobilisation of the creative development of the youth.

Alex Akuete is a 27-year-old autodidactic multidisciplinary artist with a bachelor's degree in Social care work. He is a passionate performer and a visual artist. He always enjoys working with young people and creating an atmosphere where they can coexist while maintaining their unique identity. This motivated him to start Xray Community in 2018. A youth collective where young people can come together under guidance, share creativity and inspire each other. Since 2018, he has been creating a platform where young people share new friendships, passion and creativity.

MEMBERS
Xray Community carries a high concentration of divers young artists from different cultures. These young artists are passionate in one or multiple art disciplines. The current disciplines within the community are dance, slam poetry, spoken word, performance art, painting, designing and singing. The artists are also given the freedom and material to experiment with the art forms listed above.

Projects
In collaboration with DE SINGEL, MOMU, ARENBERG, FAMEUS ANTWERPEN, MAP, RATAPLAN and Trill VZW, Xray Community has so far been able to realise various art projects and theatre performances.
